'Reality' training sessions

The QCT training model is designed to cater to business owners, professionals and students seeking employment or advancement in the bookkeeping or accounting fields. Training under the guidance of a CPA will take you through practice real life experiences to position you for ongoing paid employment.

There are a number of institutions offering training course in MYOB and business tools. However, the majority of are very theoretical. Thus the application of skills to the workplace is often disjointed leaving students unable to obtain a job or meet/exceed job requirements.

To address the gap Quinlan consulting Team (QCT) runs a series of "Reality" training sessions. These focus on providing participants real life every day examples of what occurs in Australian bookkeeping and accounting jobs. These sessions are aimed at complementing your tertiary studies. Sessions run in a relaxed environment where the presenter (often the Director of QCT) runs through real life cases on a projector and encourages questions (those questions we often feel embarrassed to ask our employer!).

Courses include: MYOB Basics, MYOB Intermediate, MYOB Advanced, (MYOB course overview), Job Seeking Skills, Advanced Excel, QuickBooks, Budgeting, Resume writing services and more! Participants receive presentation notes and a formal certificate of completion.

Sessions start from $60 and discounts are available.

We also offer a Mentoring programme that encapsulates our courses plus resume writing, one-on-one training sessions and voluntary work experience.
