Tom is an experienced CPA, business owner and entrepreneur. His success is built on and driven by experience working with organisations from start-ups to ASX listed companies. His expertise is garnered from senior leadership experience in roles in Finance, Human Resources, Accounting, Strategic Management and Marketing.
Tom partners with the management team and is responsible for the operational and financial performance of the business. As a CPA, Tom handles the accounting and payroll for the company. Further, as an experienced business owner and entrepreneur with an MBA, he supports the business strategy and development as well as supports the sales and marketing department by conducting analysis of commercial opportunities and driving marketing initiatives.
Executive Manager, Strategy & Operations
Sara has an MBA from Monash University and over 12 years of experience in start-ups and large organisations across Southeast Asia, Australia and the United States. As the Executive Manager at Quinlan Consulting, she manages operations, sales, staff retention and development, marketing strategy and internal and external stakeholder engagement.
Sara partners with businesses to provide strategic direction as well as operational and administrative guidance aimed at improving employee or client engagement, developing or increasing process efficiency and customised strategies which impact the bottom line.
Executive Manager, Finance
Yagnesh has a Masters’ in Accounting and Financial Management from La Trobe University and over 15 years of experience in various accounting, bookkeeping and taxation roles. His specialised experience spans industries such as retail, IT, Medicare, manufacturing, food and beverage, finance, telecommunications, education, online retailing, auction houses and professional services.
As the Executive Manager of Finance at Quinlan Consulting, Yagnesh is a modern financial expert who embraces technology and utilises his vast experience in accounting and finance to lead his team and drive business outcomes. He applies a hands-on approach with clients and brings a deeper and more strategic financial perspective that helps business owners and managers optimise their current operations and also prepare and plan for future opportunities.
Principal HR Consultant
As Principal HR Consultant, Julie works with clients through EQ People and leads the human resources requirements of Quinlan Consulting team.
As a highly experienced HR Professional, Julie partners with executives and leaders to drive transformation in constantly changing businesses and has a track record of doing so in several sectors including retail property management, financial services, retail, and recruitment.
Recently, Julie has consulted to Cabrini Health, where she assisted in developing their annual leadership team offsite and was fundamental in designing a survey for their Visiting Medical Officers, analysing data and presenting results to key stakeholders. Julie’s experience with other organisations includes reviewing HR policies and creating a variety of compliant and progressive policy, procedure and position description documents, conducting research into organisation design approaches and designing effective performance appraisal frameworks.
Julie holds a Bachelor of Business from Monash University.
Principal HR Consultant
As Principal HR Consultant, Angie works with clients through EQ People and leads the human resources requirements of Quinlan Consulting team.
Angie is a commercially minded HR Professional with a blend of both strategic and operational excellence. In a constantly changing environment, Angie partners with leaders to drive transformation and deliver people initiatives aligned to business strategy whilst positively impacting employee engagement.
Angie has experience working with clients across the employee lifecycle. Angie has delivered customised HR projects in the areas of organisational design, recruitment and selection, developing employment contracts and policies that ensure compliance and deliver best practice employee benefits, engagement strategies, performance management and remuneration. Recent clients Angie has engaged and delivered HR consulting services to are Noel Jones Real Estate, Guardian Vaults, Incursions R Us and Endota Spa. With her blend of strategic and operational HR experience, Angie takes the time to understand her clients, their needs, and the company’s culture.
Angie holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Deakin University.
Geoff has over 20 years’ experience providing small and medium businesses with specialist advice in corporate finance and advisory functions whilst working in a top ASX 50 company. His areas of focus included mergers and acquisitions, business structures, valuations, solvency, financial modeling and director roles and responsibilities.
With these core skills Geoff then transitioned into Business Consulting and Coaching providing businesses key skills to maximise their growth potential. These engagements assisted businesses to build out long term strategic and operational plans and once in place developed and assisted with implementation to bring the plan to life. Four key areas are addressed with multiple subgroups that look at all facets of a successful business.
Other areas of focus include director education on strategy, risk and governance, financial controls and providing ongoing coaching and mentoring support to the owners and managers of the business. As part of the Quinlan Consulting team Geoff augments the other skills within the team to assist businesses transition from where they are so they can meet their potential.
Senior Tax Accountant
Damien has over 15 years accounting experience across a broad range of industries. He is currently working with a large construction management company performing month end reporting, month end adjustments, AP, AR, BAS, payroll, payroll tax, superannuation payments, coinvest, incolink and workcover.
Damien has worked for 4+ years as a Taxation Accountant within public practice in Australia preparing accounts and lodging returns for companies, trusts, superannuation funds, sole traders and partnerships. He conducted taxation interviews with clients, advised on income distributions, participated in audits for real estate agents and liaised with ATO on technical matters and interpretation of legislation.
MARKETING MANAGER - DIGITAL
Vincent has 10+ years of experience with strong B2B and B2C knowledge working across multiple industries as a Marketing Consultant / Manager for many businesses such as Jeep Australia and Jens Gaunt Real Estate.
Vincent has managed campaigns and developed marketing strategies in a variety of situations. Understanding strategy implementation as well as gaining experience in the execution of campaigns. He has worked with management and business owners to drive results through marketing.
Vincent can articulate to clients in non-technical terms the marketing strategy which enables an ongoing partnership that delivers outstanding results.
Vincent brings a full circle approach to every strategy, easily connecting the dots and cross-linking different channels to achieve clients overall marketing goals.
Vincent’s ‘Marketing Manager – Digital’ position at Quinlan Marketing has him lead web design, SEO & SEM campaigns, marketing strategy and all other elements of digital marketing for clients.
MARKETING MANAGER - PR & COMMUNICATION
Julia has over 15 years of experience giving her the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels, adapting tone and language based on recipients’ cues, mannerisms, and seniority level. Her professional experience in senior leadership roles coupled with a Master of Science in International Marketing & Brand Management has seen her excel in building and managing teams of up to 15 employees in fast-paced industries.
With experience in fast-growing start-up environments including leading marketing & PR agencies as well as working for a large multinational and launching her own successful business, Julia is a creative thinker, a problem solver with excellent communication skills coupled with a strategic mindset.
Julia has extensive experience across marketing communications, content strategy, PR, social media, web design and graphic design. During her career, she has consulted SMEs on business and revenue growth, marketing positioning and brand management across various industries. Her experience from working with executive management teams to junior employees has equipped her with the skills and ability to tailor her consulting approach accordingly.
She has over 10 years’ experience working across the Food and Beverage, Fashion, and Professional Services industries as well as exposure working within local government agencies. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
Laura partners with business owners and managers to develop marketing strategies that align with the company’s vision and impact the bottom line. Her creativity and experience working at every level of the organisation and helping small to large-sized companies allow her to identify opportunities and quick-wins for businesses. Her ability to understand the business’s key drivers and analyse data enable her to establish short and long term Marketing goals/ plans that build brand awareness with loyal and engaging customers and ultimately increase brand visibility and revenue.

Management Consultant – Finance and reporting
Kathryn has 15+ years banking experience across London and Melbourne. She is a Non-Executive Director and a qualified Chartered Accountant. She also holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Otago University, New Zealand, and a Graduate of Australian Institute of Company Directors from GAICD.
At Quinlan Consulting Kathryn augments the other skills within our team to assist businesses transition to meet their potential. Kathryn provides budgeting, forecasting, financial and management consulting, along with her advisory experience to help business better understand their financials and optimise profits.
During Kathryn’s 15 years in banking, she developed a specialised knowledge of alternative asset classes including private equity, infrastructure and property with a strong analytical background in portfolio management, business strategy, communication and financial processes. Kathryn has strong general banking, business improvement, project management and performance analytics skills with both local and international experience. Kathryn has a unique combination of funds management, finance, operations, and regulatory compliance gained across high profile and complex organisations. She now shares this knowledge with small to medium sized business in a safe and encouraging environment.
